In Osbor literacy We Have Been Learning About World War One Our Task was To Create A Poster Using Canva About The Anzac Landing At Gallipoli

This Is My One I Enjoyed Creating This Poster Becasue We Got To Have A Private Tour Through The Gallipoli Exibition In Te Papa At Wellington.

I Used Canva To Make The Poster And Used KIddle And Nz history To Find My Infomation.

Hi blogger intoroa we have been learning about moari wether. we went on

scratch to make an animation about maori wether I chose Snowy we had to 

say in maori whats the wether? i think scratch is a fun good easy app to use 

I felt I did bad because it was rushed .

story board that about mahmoud

For literacy we have been reading Refugee by Alan Gratz.   We looked at the main character, and picked 3 words to describe them.  I picked Shy Scared and lucky

For our create task, we had to use Storyboard that, and pick one of our describing words to storyboard.  We needed to think about what happened just before that scene, and just after and how we could show emotion in our character's face.

I decided to pick scared.   I showed this through Mahmoud is on the couch hiding and then his house gets bombed and the walls collapse.S

Minecraft education Refuge camp

Over the past three weeks in literacy, we have been reading about refugees and looking at what refugee camps look like.  

Do you know that there are millions of refugees currently living in refugee camps all over the world.  These people have had to flee their home countries due to war, unrest, famine, riots, terrorist attacks and more.  Some have been living in these camps for years, with no sign of leaving.

The conditions are terrible.  There are lots of disease, crowded living areas, they are hot in summer and freezing in winter.

Our task was to recreate a refugee camp in Minecraft education, incorporating all the things we had learnt about them.

Have you ever read or watched anything about refugees before?

scenario in the last picture it the guy with the cap making the kid that got

pushed over if he's ok. I don't feel like I did very well because it looks really bad it 

was fun tho. i used flat pens to colour it in  and a pencil 

what could i have done better?

We Went to the YMCA camp at Wainui. I enjoyed going to camp 

I think it was a really good way to get to know the teachers and start the year 

I used Bitable to make my animation.
